"We organised a school reunion dinner at the Schoolhouse Hotel. We had 32 guests and were able to have pre dinner drinks outside on a glorious summer's evening. The place was buzzing and had a good atmosphere. We then had organised a set menu in the Blue Room. The food and service were perfect for the event and our group was able to move around after the meal and socialise with each other. The Blue Room is full of character and the atmosphere was perfect. Our hotel representative was Laura showed us the facility prior to the event and confirmed all details efficiently and professionally. Some of our group stayed which also was handy. I would recommend the Schoolhouse for a private dinner for a group."

“Surprise 60th Birthday Party! We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday in the Schoolhouse over the weekend and I cannot begin to describe how amazing the whole experience was. The event itself was superb, the food was absolutely delicious, and the venue; perfect for a gathering of approx. 50 people! The staff were absolutely wonderful and nothing was a problem. The rooms in the hotel were just fabulous from decor to cleanliness and comfort! I highly recommend the Schoolhouse to anyone considering it and cannot thank them all enough for making the whole weekend so special. Thank you all, but in particular to Laura, Tina and all the guys behind the bar!”
